Christmas in February

You know it’s got to be a good day when your son puts down the lollipop from yesterday, comes running to you and says, “I want to take a bubble bath!”

When you tell him you’re working and that Daddy will have to do it, he runs upstairs to Daddy and says, “Daddy, I want to take a bubble bath!”

“Right now?” asks Daddy.

“Yes!” is his emphatic reply.

To top it off, when the bath is over and it’s time for lotion and clothes, he says he wants to sing “Jingle Bells.”

And he does.

(Not included in this story is the back-and-forth between father and son where father is emphasizing to son that he should not eat the bubbles.)
