I remember that I got a vacation from heartburn for a number of weeks during the second trimester of my first pregnancy. Not so this time. Heartburn is my daily companion now.
I need to figure out if there are certain foods that cause it. Or if there are foods that minimize its burn. Not exactly sure how to do that. So far, it seems like everything I eat is a problem.
Ice has seemed to help. I had about a half a cup that I chewed on during my drive to DC. The coolness in my throat was noticeable, enjoyable and appreciated.
