soul food

i belong in the kitchen.

no man or “old-fashioned” notion or religious indoctrination has said so. no. it’s in my bones. in the deepest and most grounded and stable parts of me. i feel at home in kitchen. i am confident there. my life has purpose and meaning.

and speaking of, i need to go get dinner started.
